Considering you’ve gotten this far, I’ll take a guess and say that you’ve already read the ‘About us’ section. Incase you haven’t though, let me tell you a minuscule story...
...When three avid traveller friends came together and realised that every place they visited had one thing in common : Excess Plastic Waste, they realised they had to do something to change that, and FAST!
And so came to be, The Gaea Store.
To my mind, conscious self-care is truly where the path to sustainable living begins. The phrase ‘practice what you preach’ comes to mind with vigour when we think about how ‘The Gaea Store’ was conceptualised.
There seems to exist, a very real link between conscious living and the time we take out for ourselves.
The story of these three travellers and their passion to live and influence a more sustainable ‘Gaea’ life leads us to believe this.
Additionally, the quick take to small businesses and rate of individuals who have indulged in conscious living during this lockdown also proves the validity of this link.
A noticeable level of pride is brought about by the fact that we are actively choosing to give back to the earth in a way; or atleast making a conscious choice, while seizing to be a contributing factor to our world’s plastic problem.
Whether information-driven, internally-driven or well, both, here’s to choosing self-care and sustainability and ditching the waste.
